Glastonbury Edmonton Homes For Sale
Edmonton has its share of historic homes and many homebuyers prefer them. Many more, on the other hand, prefer something more contemporary and to these clients, we recommend that they take a look at homes for sale in the Glastonbury neighbourhood. Developers began building homes on this former farm land in 1995 but the bulk of the neighbourhood’s residences were construction in 2000.
More than half of Glastonbury’s housing stock (nearly 2,500 homes) is comprised of single-family homes, while the rest are duplexes and condos. Nearly 100 percent of the homes are owner-occupied.
If condo living is what you seek, you’ll find entry-level priced homes in Grange Point (prices typically start in the mid-$100,000s). Or, view those at Californian Parkland (2035 Grantham Court). The community has a lot to offer for the reasonable price you’ll pay for a home. Amenities include underground heated parking, car wash, exercise room, social room and a guest suite.
In the middle of the price range of Glastonbury homes for sale you’ll find homes with a rough average of 1,400 square feet of living space and typically two stories.
Glastonbury recreation and amenities

Plans for an outdoor rink and community building (which will double as a warming house) are well on their way to becoming a reality.
The Glastonbury Community League offers many programs for children and adults. Residents love the annual events, including New Years in the Park, Fall Family Fun Day, the Edmonton Airshow and Movie Night in the Park.
Shopping, dining and services are plentiful in the neighbourhood, specifically in the northwest and southeast corners. Grab a pizza on your way home from work or enjoy dining on Thai, Japanese and other cuisines or just meet friends for drinks and burgers at Original Joes.
