Aspen Gardens, Edmonton Homes For Sale
The City of Edmonton describes its Aspen Garden neighbourhood as someplace that was “designed to appeal to individuals and families in search of a quiet, affluent residential neighbourhood characterised by larger homes, mature trees, and attractive paths for pedestrian and bicycle travel."
While the homes, their landscaping and access to paths is accurate, there is more to this community than the description would have you believe. First, it’s not a neighbourhood only for the affluent. We frequently see condos for sale in Aspen Gardens priced in the low $200,000s. Read on to learn more about this decidedly residential neighbourhood.

Aspen Gardens recreation and other amenities
Because Aspen Gardens was developed as a strictly residential area, you won’t find many services within the community. Medical and dental services are close by, however, over the southeast border with Westbrook Estate.
Many families enjoy membership at the Derrick Golf and Winter Club, located in Westbrook Estate, and only a 5-minute drive from Aspen Gardens. Membership offers many recreational opportunities including golf on the 18-hole championship course. Join a league, participate in a tournament or take some lessons. Derrick offers a superior junior program as well. And, golf is year-round here with the club’s two virtual golf simulators.
Derrick Golf and Winter Club also offers aquatics, curling, fitness, badminton, tennis, a spa, banquet facilities and a social calendar packed with events and activities for the entire family.
