A fast-growing community, Allard is located in southwest Edmonton. This is one of the city’s newer neighborhoods where development began in 2009. Allard recreation and amenities

Allard’s founding fathers and mothers dubbed the neighbourhood as a place intent on “Bringing you Close to Nature,” and it certainly lives up to the promise. With two lakes (and homes backing to them) and the Blackmud Creek Ravine flowing along the eastern border, there is no shortage of opportunities to get outdoors and active.

Commuters take advantage of the two bus lines in the community, the 47 line and the 347.

Schools in Allard

Public school students who live in Allard are assigned to the following Edmonton School District schools:

  • Lila Fahlman School – located about 10 minutes southwest of Allard. Children attend this school from grades Kindergarten through 9.
  • Harry Ainlay School – A high school, located a 20-minute drive from the community.

Catholic students attend Monsignor Fee Otterson School, which is located about 5 minutes’ northeast of Allard. This elementary/middle school is a designated Microsoft Showcase School.
