Prince Rupert, Edmonton Homes For Sale

First developed following the World War II housing boom the neighbourhood of Prince Rupert consists of a triangular shaped residential area in central Edmonton. The community is home to residential homes consisting of single family dwellings but also one in three of residences are apartments.

One of the communities two major features is Kingsway Avenue, which was named to honour King George VI. The other is Kingsway Mall which is located on the south east corner of the Prince Rupert neighbourhood.

With a lot of the communities dwellings built in the post WWII era, Prince Rupert has seen some revitalization with some homes being built in the early 90's. A large portion of residents living within the area are aged 60 or older.
